• Verify your home circuit breaker is ON and the washer is receiving power • Check that the washer door or lid is fully closed and hear for a click indicating proper engagement • Open and close the door firmly several times to ensure proper seating • Inspect the visible door latch and rubber gasket for debris, lint, or obstructions and clean if necessary • Verify both hot and cold water supply valves are fully open (turn counterclockwise) • Check the drain hose for kinks, clogs, or disconnections • Reduce laundry load size as oversized loads can prevent proper door closure • Review control panel settings to ensure all selections are appropriate for your cycle • Perform a hard reset by turning off the circuit breaker to your washer for 60 seconds, then turning it back ON • If error persists after reset, do NOT attempt to force the door open or disassemble the latch mechanism
