Possible Causes

Root causes behind this error

• Water inlet valve is stuck, clogged, or malfunctioning • Kinked, pinched, or blocked inlet hose restricting water flow • Clogged water inlet filter screen • Low household water pressure (below minimum 20 PSI required for USA models) • Faulty water level sensor or pressure switch • Control board or electronic component failure • Defective door latch preventing proper cycle initiation • Frozen or blocked drain line affecting water detection sensors • Mineral buildup in inlet valve from hard water • Tripped circuit breaker or electrical connection issue

Safety Checks You Can Do

Steps you can try at home safely

• Check the circuit breaker serving your dishwasher and reset if tripped • Verify the dishwasher door is fully closed and latches securely • Confirm the main water supply valve under the sink is fully open (turn counterclockwise) • Check that the cold and hot water shut-off valves are both open • Inspect the inlet hose for kinks, pinches, or visible damage • Disconnect and inspect the inlet hose filter screen for debris or mineral buildup • Clean the filter screen under running water and reattach • Remove and clean the bottom dishwasher filter and strainer basket • Verify you are using proper dishwasher detergent (not hand soap) • Check that the cycle and settings are correctly selected on the control panel • Reset the dishwasher by turning off the circuit breaker for 60 seconds, then restore power • Run a test cycle to see if the error clears • Ensure adequate water pressure by testing another faucet in your home (should have strong flow)
