• Check the circuit breaker serving your dishwasher and reset if tripped • Verify the main water supply valve (typically located under the sink or at the wall) is fully open by turning the handle counterclockwise • Inspect the inlet hose for kinks, pinches, or bends that could restrict water flow • Disconnect and straighten the inlet hose, then reconnect securely • Look for visible leaks or water damage around the dishwasher's water connections • Ensure the dishwasher door is fully closed and the latch is engaged • Clear any visible debris from around the door gasket and drain area • Clean the dishwasher filter at the bottom of the tub by removing and rinsing under running water • Verify you are using appropriate dishwasher detergent designed for automatic dishwashers • Press the Start/Cancel button to clear the error, then power the dishwasher off at the breaker for 60 seconds and power it back on to perform a reset • Run the dishwasher through a short rinse cycle to test if error recurs • If the error persists after these checks, discontinue use and contact a qualified USA-based KitchenAid service technician
